Fred McGriff...didn't reach the statistical standard. In the voters perspective.
Character and Morals of a Muscial, Aaron, Gwynn. Came to play everyday. If he had taken Greenies he would have gotten in by now. LOL.

I told you how I'd vote. No PED's that tested positive. EVER. So as long as you don't test dirty you're in? I don't agree with that. I don't agree with stats only either... Ignorance Builder...you're ignorant because you hear 'Greenies' & 'PEDs' and automatically think 'Hit farther, run faster, throw harder.' I never said they make you run faster, hit farther, or throw harder. The sooner you realize that those three things do not encapsulate all PEDs the better off you will be. I guess Carlos Ruiz got suspended 25 games because Greenies aren't a PED...

hell, I knew that. I just didn't think you did. Based on your post. (I never said they make you run faster, hit farther, or throw harder).
But you also never said they didn't. You should have been more clear. You said Grennies enhanced their play. PROVE IT. I have spoken to guys who took them. They would say otherwise.
also, don't put words in my mouth on a Greenie not being or being a PED in the current era.
Thats what I said....that is what the standard is TODAY. "If you don't get caught your in if the statistical standards are met".
It really doesn't matter if you agree with it or not. Thats the standard.
If you will recall. My comment was if Pete and Joe can't get in then neither should a PED positive tester. EVER. How can you let a positive tester in and not let Pete or Joe in???
Neither of us agree. We have no vote. Thats why the vote has to get OUT OF THE MEDIA. Print writters either on paper or internet....and yes I know that the current members were voted in by those beat writers. Most of which didn't even play high school baseball.
Sure you don't agree with stats. But the voters do. You even mentioned Biggio and 3000 hits so you do have some statistical standard within those ears of yours.
Does Biggio and Clemente go together? Heck Biggio had more hits. LOL.
Lets put Clemente in the group with Muscial, Aaron and Gwynn.
As for Ruiz.....
In 2011, Major League Baseball granted 105 exemptions - approximately 9 percent of all players - for ADHD. That allowed those players to safely take Adderall and Ritalin. Such exemptions are generally more difficult to obtain after a positive test.
Adderall is classified as a banned stimulant - not a steroid - under MLB's policy.
"For everyday players (the ban) will make it very tough to play a game on the East Coast and have to fly out to the West Coast to play a day game. I think you'll see the level of play drop a little bit."
So with the Adderall the level of play stays the same...without it the level of play drops from east coast to west coast travel.
But lets be real. Adderall is not THE Greenie. Its just what is being called the NEW Greenie.
Like I said.....lets just agree to be blissful. LOL

Did Bonds, Clemens, Piazza, Biggio, Bagwell, McGwire, or Sosa test positive? Do we have anything confirmed about the 103 who tested positive initially other than A-Rod? I believe Sosa and Bonds tested positive during the 2003 season. I think Clemens may have. McGwire admitted to using steroids. I have trouble believing Biggio did. I have trouble believing Piazza did.

You should have been more clear. You said Grennies enhanced their play. PROVE IT. I have spoken to guys who took them. They would say otherwise. Are you trying to say that of these 50 guys you spoke to, they said that Greenies hurt their play? What are you trying to say? Where did I put words in your mouth? Please point to where I said I wouldn't let Pete or Joe in? The would be in my Hall of Fame... Of course stats play a role...I know each case is different. Doesn't matter if they go together. Were each Hall of Famers? Yep. You realize this quote (especially in bold) contradicts the points you are trying to make on amphetamines not being a performance enhancer, right? Here's what Dan Naulty said about amphetamines: "They were equally as powerful as any drug I took," he says. "You could run through a wall. You had stamina forever. I mean, you never got tired.

Lets be blissful. You have a communication gap. It doesn't contradict anything Ive said. It contradicts what YOU THINK I said.
