I liked how he incorporates different towel exercises. I have experience with towel pull ups, but it was with two towels (one in each hand).

Dee if you plan on having more kids be carefull with those kettle bells. I like that these exercises are fairly inexpensive. As long as everyone knows they have nothing to do with hitting or pitching a baseball better they are ok. Kharma IMO its not about improving pitching/hitting, just improving the strength of the muscles being used when hitting/pitching...which is advantageous.

Something that is so hard to grasp for the guys who spend more time reading studies and making theories than actually applying it on the field. Strength matters. No other way around it. If you are stronger, it will be easier to create bat speed/velocity/stay in shape/stay on the field. There ALWAYS is a carryover from raw strength to athletics. *In before someone says "let's all just get jacked like bodybuilders, right?!" Obviously there is a limit*

If you're building a well rounded race car, you do more than just one thing. Building strength is akin to boring the engine and porting the head. Building skills is slapping some new tires, firmer springs and putting tie rods/strut bars all over to solidify the chassis.
Just doing the engine/body will make the player/car explosive but lack skills.
Doing only "sport specific" skills will make a player have nice skills, but wholly underdeveloped raw horsepower.
Or, you can do them both. Bore the block, port the head, firm the suspension/chassis; and that car will go real nice like. Pump up the strength and increase the skills of the player, and his production will also increase real nice like. FAR more than just doing one of the two.

All of that is good stuff, and especially the inverted rows (with or without towels). Great for grip, back, and bicep development, but also good for the core and small muscles of the upper back because they have to stabilize (more) during the exercise. A lot more efficient than some boring seated cable rows or what have you.

It makes you a stronger and better athlete. And since sports are athletic endeavors, the carryover is huge.
.......
LOL. I made a joke, and it still gets said! I love that as the fallback when this comes up. "Psshh, yea let's all get big like Arnold..."
Despite nobody ever saying that, they still get accused of having that type of thought process.

I'd love to be big like Arnold. I'd say F baseball because I'd be rolling in millions from endorsements.
