Awesome story about a kid who singlehandedly pitched his team into the NAIA World Series. sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=4171780"He told us that he was a senior that will never play pro ball and he was going to be an accountant in just a few weeks. He said he didn't care about his arm and told us he will give us a chance to win." That is what college baseball is all about right there. Bonus points for knocking out Lindenwood, a team I always love to see go down after mocking my coach last year.

Thats funny... Brett played with and against Cambellsvilles pitching coach, and I coached against him at a few different levels.
It will make for a good story if they can close the door at the WS.

When I played in the D2 World Series the opposing pitcher in the championship game who was also the D2 pitcher of the year ended up the tournament with something like 32 innings pitched and 494 pitches thrown over 6 or 7 days. He made it as far as double a I believe.
We did beat him in the championship 9-5 ;D
