I will tape and submit all my fall pitchers for 2009. Here is the first one.
A senior, coming off a broken pitching hand suffered in June. Good slider, cutter, and sinker. He is very tough on leftie, and has the ability to be a 10 game winner in HS. I look forward to his progression this fall and season. He is currently 82-85, and has a much higher cieling in my opinion. I think as his lower body mechanics progress, and he fills into his frame, that he will be capable of being a D1 guy.
Constructive opinions welcome.

Dee I thought you were a Greg Maddux guy? He takes the ball out of the glove with his hand on top of the ball so as he gets stronger he will tear even more tissue on his UCL. I agree that he can throw faster. Kharma Kharma "I thought you were a GM guy" I dont clone people to throw with the same delivery. Its Sensible to do so. Thats one reason MMs stuff will never make it. I am a Greg Maddux guy... That doesnt mean Im going to teach a 6'4 lefty to throw like a 5'11 righty. I dont expect camp Marshall to appreciate an individuals style and work with it. There are some areas with his lower body "fire" that can improve. I will kkpost more video of LeftE toward the end of fall.

Dee I was referring to the fact that your guy ends with his pitching shoulder facing home plate. Certainly influence by MM. Are you saying that this kid does this because he learned it from MM?

Are you saying that this kid does this because he learned it from MM? I guess I am asking what you do as this man's coach. GM squares up to home plate. You went on and on about how this was the best position to end. I kept telling you gys to watch Sports Center and you would see more and more guys pitching like your guy. I am saying that any innovation in the traditional world comes from Dr MM.,,including this one. I am curious what you see as your role with this young man. If you feel GM is so good, I don't see why you would not change him? Many traditional pitching coaches have bought into not bringing the elbow beyond the acromial line in the wind up. Have you bought into this? I appreciate that you have showed film of the young man and hope you continue to do so. Kharma I made the above quote Kharma, not my brother. I am in Seattle, he is in Frisco Texas. I am not this kid's coach. So you are not claiming that this kid was influenced by Marshall?
