As a coach, I try to avoid landing extemely open, or closed. Here he is landing slightly closed, which I am cool with. Its also OK IMO because the front leg is opening up... If his foot was also landing really closed, I would have more issue with his alignment. Remember, he is starting out on the right side of the rubber. He is probably only landing a few inches closed based on where he begins. ...good observation 22

deemax, i have always used line your ankles up with ryan meaning if he started with his back foot in this same position then when his front foot landed it would pretty much split the tape. would this be considered to open or is that o.k.?
