He was swaying between Berkeley and UCLA, eventually he decided Berkeley is too liberal for him. UCLA isn't exactly a conservative thinktank, but I would say it is a little less liberal than Berkeley...

Planning for a minor in either Econ or Finance.

I think we are debating Red China, vs. Red USSR in terms of degrees of "left".... Remember the typical folks would say "well the Chinese communists are not nearly as bad as the Soviets, they are more moderate". I suppose...
Imagine the UCLAns screaming "Liberals" at the Berkeley folk. Most bystanders would be going "huh"...
By the way I am not comparing these two fine institutions to commies... Both tilt the dial one way, one just not quite as sharply...

Ever been to Greece? Simply beautiful Islands. And no Mexicans or any immigrants to speak of. Not doing to well from what I hear. Ever been to Italy. No Mexicans to speak of or immigrants for that matter. Italy has the age distibution of the state of Florida. I wonder who is going to be working to support their social programs. Ever been to Mexico? All Mexicans as I can tell. Not doing well from what I hear also. So who is the moron now?

It was broad daylight, but for fun I decided to make the walk from Revelucion' back to the border. Wanted to see if any 5'-5" guys would try to put me in a sleeper hold and though I watched my back I never felt threatened. I am not sure I'd make that walk after dark though... you have to cross that bridge walk-way area... I might take the wife and kids down and do that walk one time before moving to toughen them up and make them appreciate the states all the more...
