A little dramatic are we? College baseball games, especially in the SEC, take FOREVER. If you can speed things up with a "shot clock" then I say go for it. Based on the statistics provided by ESPN during the broadcast of the SEC championship game the experiment seems to have been a good one.

Coaches over coaching is what slows down games IMO. The football wrist decoders are a joke.
Don't let the coaches call pitches and the games will speed up.

Interesting your against that.... wasn't USC known for having a new card with signs ever inning or so? or was that some other school.

SC had them for the catcher. I've seen other teams with them for the hitters as well.
I hate seeing the catcher look into the dugout every pitch but then to have to watch them decode the arm bands was too much.
I understand why they do it. They want to control every aspect of the game because their jobs depend on winning. But as a fan, and a parent of catchers, I would like to see the catcher call the games.
A local high school team had them for everyone on the field. The coach would give a sign and 7 guys were standing there looking at their arms.
