As Baseball Debate continues to grow, issues will arise from time to time that create a need to amend the rules to better serve the site. The original rule at the site was simple: No nonsense. In 99% of the posts at Baseball Debate, this rule has been followed. For the other 1%, a need has been created to further explain the rules here For those who feel that is too vague, here is a breakdown of what we consider 'nonsense' and therefore has no place at Baseball Debate. - Swearing profusely
- Name calling of any kind
- Personal attacks on other posters
- Posts that add nothing to the topic at hand, or deter from it in a negative tone
- Posting links to your forum in hopes of drawing members away from Baseball Debate
- Repeating the same term over and over in a nonsensical fashion
As of today, ANY post that has any of these elements will be subject to DELETION. This will be decided on by the Baseball Debate moderators. If you continue to disobey the rules, we will now consider banning members. Again, 99% of the posters and posts here follow these rules, and we greatly appreciate it. For the 1%, all we ask is that you take a moment to read the rules and be prepared see your posts get deleted should you not follow them. Baseball Debate is still here to be the most insightful and open baseball forum out there, and we hope you enjoy! Thanks for following the rules and taking time out of your day to participate! -Brett
